Bold Construction’s story begins with business partners Jason Dell and Chris Ehrenfeld, who have been friends since pre-school. Ehrenfeld started building homes after graduating from the University of North Carolina in 1997, and Dell received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in the same year. Five years later, Dell moved to North Carolina to pursue contracting opportunities with Ehrenfeld.

The firm prides itself on prioritizing clients’ needs and delivering detailed and reliable quotes. The firm not only builds high-quality custom homes but also focuses on making the building process enjoyable for its clients as a top priority. Bold Construction always implements certain upgrades in its homes, such as environmentally friendly items including smart thermostats and tankless water heaters and universal design features including wider doors and curbless master showers.

2018 continued to be another notable year for Bold Construction garnering over 8 industry and regional awards.
